Community Wastewater Management Scheme


Port Neill CWMS

Current Project Status (as at June 2017)

Construction of the scheme is now complete, with property owners able to make arrangements for connection of their properties into the system. During June each property owner will receive a letter form Council outlining the steps they are required to take to make this connection.

The Council fees and charges for the scheme are confirmed in this letter, along with deadlines for payments and information on hardship and alternative payment arrangements.

It is a requirement that all properties with any form of onsite wastewater management ie septic tank or aerobic treatment system are connected to the scheme by 30 June 2018.
